Ck2 workshop mods not downloading

Never install mods in Steam directory (ex: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Crusader Kings II\mod), as mod would not be properly loaded. Hello, I seem to have a problem downloading mods from the workshop. They say that they are subscribed but do not show up in the menu nor the mod folder. I went and checked my settings and nothing should be preventing this download. I checked my download folder and it does say that they were downloaded, and yet they do not show up.

Under "Mods" tab, the new mod will appear at the bottom of the mod list as unselectable, with a red background (which does not reflect download progress !). At the same time a "Crusader Kings II - Workshop Content" download will be triggered in Steam client (where you can monitor progress). I dont have a solution yet, but for you, does the mod download as steam workshop civ 5 in your downloads in the steam library? Becuase everytime i unsubscribe and resubscribe, steam downloads the mods but they arent in the folder and dont appear. Anybody out there with a fix?
